While we are creating an amazing venue to make a truly unforgettable wedding day (and we are!), it is important to us that couples are given the time and space to focus on planning for an equally amazing marriage. Studies show that premarital counseling increases your odds of achieving just that! Typically, the goal of premarital counseling is to identify and address any potential stressors in a relationship early on, before those issues become serious concerns, and teach partners effective strategies for managing future conflicts that arise.
In order to use Blue Vista for wedding related festivities, couples need to complete a pre-marital program with a licensed mental health professional, certified relationship educator, or a qualified religious person. If possible, we recommend seeing a Marriage or Couple and Family Therapist due to their specialized training with couples and families.
